A new series following the Welsh Whisperer as he travels villages across the country meeting the characters of rural Wales. Llanllwni Village takes centre stage this week, featuring two young sisters, Sioned and Siriol Howells, who are busy milking home on the farm. As well as having the opportunity to buy a 'poni' at the local mart - the Welshman will brush the 'tache with the village barber. We'll get a few songs from Welsh too!
The musicians Al Lewis and Mari Mathias are on a pilgrimage to the Lorient Interceltique Festival, in Brittany. The festival is a unique celebration of the music and culture of the Celtic countries, with 5,000 musicians, singers, dancers, and visual artists performing there.
